Less Than Six Weeks to Go: Help Showcase New Zealand at APEC Cultural Day in Shenzhen 🇳🇿
Time is running out to build a strong New Zealand presence in Shenzhen.
On Saturday, 19 September 2026, New Zealand will feature alongside Australia and Papua New Guinea at Hello APEC Shekou Cultural Market – Uncover Oceania in Shekou, Shenzhen.
The New Zealand Greater Bay Area Network (NZGBA) is helping coordinate the New Zealand section, and with the event now less than six weeks away, we are looking for more Kiwi businesses, brands, products, performers, cultural groups and volunteers to get involved.
We particularly want to hear from:
- New Zealand brands and businesses
- Food and beverage brands
- Kapa haka, music and cultural performers
- Rugby, sport and interactive displays
- Community organisations and volunteers
- Tourism, education and creative businesses
- Media and content creators
- Kiwis and friends of New Zealand who simply want to help
Participation is free of charge. Spaces may be selected to ensure a diverse and high-quality New Zealand showcase.
📅 Saturday, 19 September 2026
🕞 3:30 pm – 7:00 pm
📍 Shekou Management and Service Center for Expats, Nanshan, Shenzhen
If you are in Shenzhen or elsewhere in the Greater Bay Area, or know a New Zealand business, organisation or person who should be involved, now is the time to get in touch.
