New Zealand Society Wine Tasting

Founded in 1874 after the Great Exhibition, The Wine Society has spent nearly 150 years curating exceptional wines and building relationships with the world’s greatest winemakers. It was among the first to bring New Zealand wines to Britain – introducing the crisp, vibrant styles that now define our national identity.

On Monday, 1 September 2025, step inside the magnificent Institute of Civil Engineers, One Great George Street – a Grade II-listed Edwardian masterpiece in Westminster – for an evening dedicated to New Zealand wine at its finest.

The Walkaround Experience:

Taste as many wines as you like, at your own pace, with a glass and tasting booklet provided on arrival. Whether you’re discovering bold new favourites, rediscovering a classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, or daring to try a silky Syrah, this is an evening for exploration, connection, and Kiwi spirit. It’s the perfect chance to connect with fellow Kiwis over a world-class glass.

What to Expect:

  • A relaxed walkaround tasting with glass and booklet provided on arrival
  • Spotlight on New Zealand’s diversity – from iconic Sauvignon Blancs and expressive Chardonnays to Marlborough Pinot Noir and silky Syrah
